Yes! I am in network with Highmark, Capital and Cigna. To avoid any surprises, I ask that YOU CHECK YOUR BENEFITS, to ensure I am in-network. To do this, call the MEMBER SERVICE number on the back of your insurance card and ask: "Is JENELLE STINE/SOUL CENTERED INTEGRATIVE COUNSELING IN NETWORK". You can also find this information on your insurance portal.
If I am not in network with your plan, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. Call your insurance's member service department to learn about your plans coverage options. Payment for private pay sessions is due at the time of service. I will provide you with a superbill to send to your insurance company.
You are responsible for paying your co-pay, deductible, and session fees at time of service. Your credit card information will be securely stored on your client portal.
Co-pay: A pre-determined amount that you pay each time of service.
Deductible: An amount you pay for services before insurance starts paying.
These amounts are determined by your insurance company.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to learn more about what brings you to counseling. We’ll talk through your history, current concerns, and goals, and I’ll answer any questions you may have about the process. Think of it as a collaborative conversation rather than something you need to “prepare” for. The pace will always be guided by your comfort level.
Most sessions are 53 minutes long. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum, and then we may adjust to biweekly or monthly depending on your progress and needs. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that supports your goals and fits your life.
People come to counseling for all kinds of reasons: stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, or simply wanting to grow and understand themselves better. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, therapy can be a safe, supportive space to gain clarity and learn new tools. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting. Ask questions and express concerns along the way.
No, I do not prescribe medication. However, I am happy to refer you to a psychiatrist if medication may be helpful, or to collaborate with your primary care provider to support you with treatment recommendations. Many clients find that therapy alone is enough, while others benefit from a combined approach. We’ll discuss what feels right for you.
There’s no “one size fits all” timeline for therapy. Some people benefit from short-term work focused on specific goals, while others prefer ongoing support. Together, we’ll continually check in about your progress and adjust as needed so therapy always feels helpful and meaningful.
Yes. Your privacy is very important to me, and I follow strict HIPAA guidelines to protect your information. Everything we discuss in session is confidential with only a few legal exceptions. We’ll go over these limits in detail during your first session so you know exactly what to expect.
