Areas of Focus

What I help clients work through.

I work primarily with older teens (16 and up), college students, and adults who want to take an active role in building a more meaningful life. Whether you've been in therapy before or this is your first time, you're welcome here.

You don't have to have the words yet

Whatever brought you here, it belongs in the room.

Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others just know something feels off. Both are welcome. We start where you are, name what matters, and move at a pace that feels safe to you.

Anxiety, Perfectionism & High-Functioning Stress

From racing thoughts and constant mental noise to the perfectionism that looks productive but quietly wears you down. We work to understand what your nervous system is responding to and build skills that bring genuine relief, without having to white-knuckle your way through life.

OCD & Intrusive Thoughts

Intrusive thoughts can feel loud, frightening, and impossible to argue with. Together we loosen their grip and the rituals built to quiet them, so you can relate to your thoughts differently rather than being ruled by them.

Depression & Burnout

Depression can feel like a heavy fog, and burnout can feel like running on empty. We look at what's underneath, including sleep, relationships, meaning, and exhaustion, and build small, genuine movements back toward what matters.

Self-Esteem & Identity Development

For people who second-guess themselves constantly or feel disconnected from who they really are. We work to quiet the harsh inner critic and reconnect with your values, strengths, and sense of self.

Women's Concerns

A grounded, understanding space for the pressures, roles, and transitions women navigate, and the parts of yourself that are easy to lose track of along the way.

Relational Trauma & Grief

When the harm came from people who were supposed to love you, or when you're carrying loss, the work is layered and possible. We move at a pace your body can handle, building safety and choice along the way.

Life Transitions & Identity Shifts

Graduations, moves, new jobs, divorce, becoming an empty-nester, and the other in-between seasons of life. Transitions are clarifying and disorienting at once. Therapy gives you a grounded place to sort through it.

Relationships & Boundaries

Learning to say no, to hold limits, and to honor your needs in relationships you care about. Boundaries aren't walls. They're how you stay close to people without losing yourself.

Who I tend to work with.

A lot of my clients are people who look like they're "doing fine" on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. They sense that something needs to change and are open to being reflective and trying new ways of living.

That includes high school and college graduates figuring out their next steps, empty-nesters, people going through divorce, relocation, or a new job, and adults of all kinds who are simply invested in creating a better life for themselves. If that sounds like you, we'll likely work well together.

Areas outside my scope.

Part of good care is being honest about fit. To make sure every client gets the right level of support, there are a few areas I don't provide treatment for. If your needs fall here, I'll do my best to point you toward someone better suited.

  • Eating disorders
  • Substance abuse or addiction
  • Court-mandated counseling
  • Emergency or immediate crisis services

While crisis situations can come up during treatment, I am not an emergency service. If you're in crisis, please visit the crisis resources page.

Don't see your concern listed?

Reach out anyway. If we're not a fit, I'll happily point you toward someone who is.
