Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how Soul Centered Integrative Counseling ("we," "our," "the practice") collects, uses, and safeguards information you share through soulcenteredic.com (the "Site"). It does not govern the confidential clinical record of established therapy clients — that record is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone number, state of residence, insurance, and the brief message you submit through our contact form.
- Newsletter sign-ups: email address and the date of subscription.
- Automatic information: standard technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used only to keep the Site secure and functional.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
- Send the newsletter you opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Maintain the security and reliability of the Site
We never sell your information. We do not share it with marketers or advertisers.
Please do not send clinical details
Email and web forms are not appropriate channels for protected health information (PHI). Please keep your message general — what you're hoping to work on, your availability, your insurance — and save clinical detail for our first conversation, which happens through HIPAA-compliant video.
Where information is stored
Contact form and newsletter submissions are stored in a secure cloud database with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to Jenelle and authorized service providers operating under written confidentiality obligations.
Your choices
- You can request a copy or deletion of any information you've submitted by emailing the practice.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email.
- You can browse the Site without submitting any information.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Therapy services for minors are arranged directly with a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
